The man seated in the center is I‘tisam al-Mulk (Parvin I‘tisami's father), the woman seated to his left is Parvin I‘tisami's mother, and, according to the inscription on the back, the other people are: ‘Adl al-Mulk, Mu‘tamad al-Sultan, Mirza Musa Khan, Mirza Mahdikhan; the group had gathered at a ceremony for ‘Adl al-Mulk's daughter in ‘Adl al-Mulk's house, Shishgilan, Tabriz.

Mulla ‘Abd al-Husayn (son of Mulla ‘Abd al-Rahim) and Nisa’ Khanum (daughter of Karbalayi Baqir) sell their residential house and garden in Surkhab, Tabriz, to Mirza Faraj Allah (son of Mirza Abu Muhammad the former sheriff of Tabriz) for seventeen tumans on behalf of themselves, as the guardians of the underage children of Mulla Muhammad Riza (Zayn al-‘Abidin and Jamal al-Din), and on behalf of Sara Baygum.
